day 2 of japanese

I spent time today learning my first bit of hiragana, it was a blast. I learned my first japanese vowels, sounded them out and wrote them down repeatedly. I really like writing, it’s fun and definitely something outside of my box. I spent a good 2 hours practicing these 5 vowels, writing them, and doing my best to associate the symbol with the phonetic sound. I can’t wait until tomorrow, when I get to tackle more letters. how stoked am I.
